Car parking is quite a remarkable feature at Sydney airport and comprehensive for both international and domestic travellers. Best of all, Sydney Airport only charges you by the hour and not by the day, so you're not paying over-the-top prices. At the International Terminal a new 8 level parking facility is under construction that will provide under cover parking and more space close to the terminal.
As Parking fees are liable to change, we would suggest referring to Sydney Airport Parking. Please note that the rates quoted below should be used as a guide only.
Domestic Short Stay Parking
- Short Stay parking is located in the multi-story car park directly in front of both Domestic Terminals (T2 & T3) and is just a short
stroll from the Departures and Arrivals Halls.
- Rates (April 08) for Short Stay parking travel from around $14 fo 30-60 mins up to $46 (3-24 hours) per day and additional days are at $46 or part there on.
- Valet parking is available on level 3 of the car park through the services of Sydney Airport's Pronto! Valet Parking with quick and easy access to the Departure halls of both Terminals T2 and T3.
- Valet Parking is available from 5.00am to 11.00pm Daily and charges (April 08) start from $22 for first 30 minutes to $59 per day (3-24 hours).
International Short Stay Parking
- During construction of the new Parking facilities at T1 there will be modified parking arrangements as detailed below from April 30th 2007.
- Short Stay Parking is located close to the Terminal and covers for stays of less than 1 day with no overnight parking available.
- Rates (April 08) start from $7 for the first 30 minutes, $20 for 1-2 Hours and $41 for 5-24 hours (but note no overnight parking).
Domestic Long Stay Parking
- Located off Ross Smith Avenue, the Long Stay Parking is serviced by regular air-conditioned shuttle buses to and from both Domestic Terminal buildings.
- It is recommended that you drop off your vehicle at the car park at least 1 hour before your Domestic flight departure.
- Rates (April 08) commence at $24 per day up to $109 for 6-7 days and $11 for each additional day.
- For an additional flat fee of $15 your car will be parked in the new shaded area.
International Long Stay Valet Parking
- Sydney Airport introduced on 30th April 2007 Long Stay Valet parking at
standard Long Stay self parking rates.
- No booking is required, simply follow the signs to the Long Stay Valet Reception area located near the exit gates of the Public Car Park.
- Rates (April 08) start from $69 for 1-2 days rising to $119 for 6-7 days and $12 for each additional day.
International Qantas Valet Parking
- Sydney Airport with Qantas operate a valet parking service that is available to all international travellers irrespective of which airline
you are travelling with.
- Located immediately opposite the Check-in area in T1 the service operates 5.00am-11.00pm seven days a week and even offers a car wash and detailing service.
- Rates (April 08) are based on Calendar day, rising from a $55 for the first day to $192 for 7 days (6 nights) and $119 each additional week or part thereof.
International Remote Long Term Parking
- Located off Ross Smith Avenue, the International Remote Long Term Parking shares the same facility as the Domestic Terminal's long stay park with regular
air-conditioned shuttle buses to International Terminal building.
- It is recommended that you drop off your vehicle at the car park at least 2.5 hours before your International departure
- Rates (April 08) commence at $24 per day up to $109 for 6-7 days and $11 for each additional day or part thereof.
Park, Bark and Purr
- Something of an Australian first! Sydney Airport in conjunction with Hanrob has introduced a boarding facility for your pet located near the Long Term Car Park.
- The process is remarkably simple, drop off your pet, park your car and catch your flight!
- Some Parking Discounts apply when using Park, Bark & Purr which operates from 6.00am to 9.00pm.
